For example St Pancras to Ridgmont return is £18.65 with a rail card, whereas if you buy separate tickets to and from Bedford it is only £13.20. If anyone is considering posting any walks on this line, I'd greatly appreciate it if they could let me know. I'm aware that I've been annoying some posters by banging on about this line recently. Please bear in mind that I've been largely inactive in recent months owing to an injury which requires an operation. Anyone who has been on an NHS waiting list, at least in my part of the world, will know that it's an inhumane process and nobody comes off these lists unscathed. All I'm saying is, let's all remember before we sound off that you don't always know what's going on in the other person's life. Do as I say, not as I do! I used to post this walk early in March most years in order to enjoy the sight of new born lambs being released in the fields below Seaford Head. Fine views also from High & Over Hill. One of my favourite walks in the entire SWC repertoire - and this is the best time of year to do it ! It seems to start at about 13:00. It's a quirky old pub that usually does not serve food, but the landlady is happy for walkers to have their picnic in the garden with a drink from the pub. This Saturday they will have hog roast from 17:00 onwards. If nobody objects I will post an additional walk from Borough Green to Otford following the North Downs Way and stopping at the pub for some cider sampling.
https://www.facebook.com/RisingSunCotmansAsh/
https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=51.31740&mlon=0.24154#map=17/51.31740/0.24154Dirkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10966411646320557535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16756786.post-53856784601709932772023-06-23T15:34:39.658+01:002023-06-23T15:34:39.658+01:00Some late starting seaside walks would be great 👍...Some late starting seaside walks would be great 👍 thanksanonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08489335062808229437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16756786.post-23355794408618764042023-05-14T14:02:15.136+01:002023-05-14T14:02:15.136+01:00Yes. 99% of all weeks have an evening walk.
